Can I appeal for full tuition refund?
I registered an online class. Since it was my first online class, I had no idea how it would be taught. Before the first day of class, there was not anything else on the system except the Syllabus. Moreover, it was a new class created by the professor. I could not ask someone had already taken it for advice. After reviewing all the lesson materials and instructions when they were available, I decided to drop it. Another one of my summer classes is taking online too. I could not manage to learn them well because both of them are advanced classes and the lack of communication due to online teaching. I am not very familiar with the key date in summer term. I dropped the class on the first day of class. Could I get the chance to receive total refund instead of 90%? I am an international student. The 10% deduction is a big difference according to the much higher tuition standard compared to the state residents.
