Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology: Rank 1- Should I Join?

Hi, I've got Rank 1 in the UGET2 exam conducted by Sikkim Manipal. Should I join it? I know the place is good and so are the hostels, placements are nice, but if i prepare for a year, I'm sure I can get good ranks in Karnatak Manipal (Got a rank of about 4000 this year), VIT (got 10000 this year) and even WBJEE (this year 1500). I got a really bad rank in AIEEE though (35K). My IITJEE score was better than that (score=182). So should I prepare for a year or join Sikkim Manipal?
